SVEE manufactures six sizes
of cells for precious metals recovery: 35 cubic feet (1 cubic
meter), 50 cubic feet (1.4 cubic meters), 70 cubic feet (2 cubic
meters), 75 cubic feet (2.1 cubic meters), 100 cubic feet (2.8
cubic meters), 125 cubic feet (3.5 cubic meters) and 150 cubic
feet (4.3 cubic meters).
Our cells have the highest
actual cathode volume per cell. The industry standard sizing
does not equate to our total working area. This is an important fact
to consider when comparing electrowinning cells.
SVEE offers non-basketed cathode
designs. This design
requires significantly less labor for cell servicing and cathode
washing (in cell). The non-basketed design streamlines servicing by
abolishing the separate cathode wash tank and eliminating the need to remove
the electrode from the cell for service.
All Summit Valley cells
are constructed of 304 stainless steel and lined with polypropylene
in the working area. While SVEE's stainless steel cells may cost
a little more than our competition's fiberglass or polypropylene
cells, our cells do not require continual maintenance compared
to a fiberglass or polypropylene body. Combine this with the
higher efficiency of our cells, SVEE cells cost much less to
operate over the life of your plant.
